Live Music Matters
“Live Music Matters” a tribute to Eddie Owens of, the very well known, Eddie’s Attic. Just take a look at the list of names that performed at this event and you’ll understand how honored I was to be involved.
I was so happy to get to meet Mr. Eddie Owens, to be able to perform in a show as a tribute and honor to him and was a huge deal for me, but then to top it all of he tweeted a big compliment about me!
Maguires, Senoia
On Saturday night, June 16th, I had a great time as the entertainment for the night from 8:00 – 11:00 at Maguire’s Senoia. Maguire’s is a family restaurant and Irish Pub in the beautiful city of Senoia, GA., and they have delicious food! Keep in touch with me, sign up for my fan club and come join me at my next show there!
Project Maytown Benefit Concert
On Friday June 15th, I performed at a benefit concert at Christ’s Church at Whitewater to help raise funds for a group going on a mission trip to the Appalachian Mountain area in Maytown, Kentucky. I had a great time catching up with some friends that I hadn’t seen in a long time and meeting some new friends. I know that this group will have a great trip and touch a lot of lives, please keep them in your prayers.
Rumour Has It
I won some studio time so I recently went to SAE in Atlanta to record a couple of covers, I just added one of them, “Rumour Has It”, originally by Adele. It’s in the “My Songs” portion here on my website, please listen and let me know what you think of it and the other songs on “My Songs”. I may even do a little video to go along with “Rumour Has It”…. not sure.
New addition to my family
On Saturday, May 9th, 2012, I brought home a new addition to my family! A brand new, Australian, EGB 808 SB, Maton guitar, from Broadway Sound in Knoxville, TN I haven’t figured out exactly what his name is yet, I guess we need to spend some time together first.
CMA with Rachel Farley
If you haven’t already….meet my friend, Rachel Farley, because if you haven’t met her yet, you will soon, this small town GA girl is about to head out on tour with two of todays most popular male country artists, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Rachel and I have known each other for, at least, the past five years and a lot has happened in those five years! So proud of and happy for Rachel, I can’t wait to see her giving her first big awards speech!!
I even ran into a few of our mutual music friends at her show so we were able to catch up a little and lots of hugs all around. Go check the out…. Jordan Rager, Kaitlyn Pope and David Leon
